Fair Haven is a Diverse Community with a Rich History and a Beautiful Waterfront

Most cases of COVID-19 are contracted from family members living together. If you are caring for someone who is symptomatic or tested positive for COVID-19, here are some tips from the CDC to keep you and your loved one safe:

1.       Monitor the person for worsening symptoms and be in close contact with your health care provider.

2.       Prevent the spread of germs by having the person stay in a separate room and use a separate bathroom if possible,            washing your hands frequently, and not sharing personal items.

3.       Make sure the sick person is hydrated. Over-the-counter medicines may also help.

4.       Contact a health care provider to know when the person can end home isolation.

It is critical that we continue to follow the guidance from our City health officials and the CDC to reduce the spread of the virus.

If you have questions, contact our Health Department hotline – 203-946-4949.
