The Yale School of Drama needs 24 chairs for a production. Have you got one or two you could lend them?
The show takes place in a homeless shelter, and what they need is a mix of wooden chairs, steel-framed chairs with plastic seats, folding chairs, etc. – "a hodgepodge of whatever was donated or lent."
They'll need the chairs from sometime next week or shortly thereafter through May 16.
If you have a chair or two you could lend, you can tape a slip of paper with your name on it/them and just leave them on the south side of Lee's porch. This is the side of the porch that faces the driveway at 29 Clinton Avenue. You may even get credit on the program but for sure you chair(s) is (are) destined for stardom.
Oh, and please email Don Harvey (firstname.lastname@example.org
) the number of chairs you're lending so that he'll know how many more he has to find.
