Event Description
Join Friends of Dover Beach and URI to beautify one of our local parks. We meet every Friday from 10-12 am. There may be occasional changes due to weather, and sometimes folks may stay longer to finish a project. We have 3 worksites, all of them along the north end of Front Street (between Middletown Avenue and Peck Street). Two of them are butterfly gardens and one is a little park we are developing in a fenced in area near the river. Work will include weeding, planting flowers and shrubs, spreading mulch, picking up trash, watering, etc. URI will provide all tools and supplies, though some people bring their own. Hope you can join us!
