Presenting will be:
Citywide wifi Network for Things - John Fitzpatrick, will share an exciting new wireless technology that reaches miles and allows thousands of smart devices to always be feeding information back to the internet.
Sculpture Experience - Julia Murphy of ToolMark Studio will share memorable projects and processes, as experienced during her sculpting career.
Robotic Competition - Chris LaSalle, will share the challenges and successes of the Robo Dominators Team in the First Robotics Competition.
Fabrication Bootcamp - Corey Rice shares his experience attending a 6 month fabrication course and bring that knowledge to his high school class. He also has an exciting announcement about programming being developed for MakeHaven.
Environmental Sensors (pending confirmation) - Jacob Lewallen will share updates of world travel installing environmental sensors and the new open source platform that makers can use to record environmental data in their community.
Sacred Heart Makerspace - Cedric Bleimling will share the story of projects in development at Sacred Heart Univ. and the projects and experiences that lead him to this position.
Sculpture at Nxt Hvn - Jeffrey Meris is an artist who works across sculpture, installation, performance and drawing to consider the impacts of naturalization, (dis)placement and racial interpellation. He will share examples of his work.
Disposable and Beautiful - Michael Angelis is a painter and printmaker. Many of his works are intended to capture images or concepts that are not typically preserved or memorialized.
