Note: Contacts listed below are community leaders. If you would like to support an activity as a volunteer or donor, please contact one of the leaders associated with the event. All residents, local business owners, and workers wishing to volunteer are welcome.
If you would like to start a new activity or event, please share your idea at one of our meetings and/or through a blog post on this website.

March: Neighborhood Talent Show, Quinnipiac Terrace (Melanie)

April 5: Spring Clean-up at Chatham Square Park, Dover Beach, and other possible locations (Joan, Pat, Lee)
April 19: Easter Egg Hunt at Chatham Square Park (Mary Ann, Sally)
April: Community Garden at Clinton Avenue School (Mary Ann, Sally, Melissa)
May 3: Fair Haven Family Stroll fundraiser for early childhood education at Quinnipiac River Park (liaisons to planning committee Kathleen, Lee)
May 4: Riverfest at Quinnipiac Marina (Eco. Dev. Work Group)
July: Art in the Park at Chatham Square Park (Mary Ann, Sally)
September 6: Fall Festival at Chatham Square Park (seeking co-coordinator to work with Hope, Lee)

On this website, on the first page under who we are and what we do there is a link under the words " City of New Haven Guide to Fair Haven" this is the address it links to: http://www.cityofnewhaven.com/Government/pdfs/8.%20FairHaven_Guide.pdf
unfortunately it is a little out of date but most of the info is current. I have but a request in to the city to have it updated, others should do the same if you think it a useful document.
If you know of anyone moving into the neighborhood and you or they have any difficulty printing this documents let me know and I can print a copy. If they are Spanish speaking and you want me to accompany you to go by to welcome them, I would be happy to do so. I am sure there are others who would also be willing to help with this outreach effort if asked.

retreat attendants:much good work -sorry I had to leave early but as many of you now know my mother in law passed away soon after the meeting(she was102 yrs young)-before leaving -I did leave a message that I would work with "welcoming new residents of the neighborhood and Lee said there was some printed data available so whom do I connect with, thanks Fran
