Quinnipiac Riverfest is back—bigger and better than ever! May 15th 11am-4pm.

The Chatham Square Neighborhood Association is proud to present the 7^th annual  celebration of our waterfront community and the beautiful river that runs through it. As in past years, there will be 3 bands, craft beer tasting from local breweries, great food, guided canoe rides, and face painting and crafts for children. New this year: We’ve added a big dance floor, so bring your dancing shoes. Kayaking has been added to the water-related fun thanks to the Quinnipiac River Watershed Association. Artists and Artisans will be selling their creations, just in time for Mother’s Day. And, so we do not forget our history, we have a special guest this year:  Fox-Running, Medicine Man of the Bear Clan of the Quinnipiac Tribal Council of the Algonquian Confed... will be with us.  Riverfest is rescheduled for Sunday, May 15, 11 am to 4 pm (May 15 rain date). Festivities are centered at Quinnipiac Marina at 309 Front Street, plus the segment of Front Street between Chatham and Pine which will be closed to traffic. Riverfest is part of a two day Waterfront celebration that includes the Fair Haven Family Stroll on Saturday.  For more information on Riverfest see www.quinnipiacriverfest.com
