That concern started toward reality when Mrs. Eli Whitney invited ten ladies to her home at the corner of Elm and Orange Streets on September 8, 1866 to plan a refuge for…

Recommendations on Childcare Needed

My wife and I have been using two sitters to provide childcare at our home for our 10 month-old son. Recently, we've been hit with a double whammy. One sitter found full time employment (we are happy for her on that account, but sad to see her go), while another had to leave due to health issues.

We're struggling trying to find a replacement and are starting to realize just how important it is for us to have some degree of personal connection to whomever will be…

Understanding Street and Neighborhood Night Time Lighting

Here is a link to International Dark Sky Association -IDA-

There is a lot to know about night time lighting, your rights, its types, it's consequences, it's cost, and legislation that regulates night time lighting... and legislation that is forth coming.  My best advice is, understand this subject before coming to any conclusions.

Let me start by letting you know your eyes have two different seeing capabilities... Daylight Vision, with full color perception. and night time…

Ryan is looking for Fair Haven neighborhood resident who use a bike and public transportation solely to get around. He would like to ride along with you and film for about 30 minutes, or the length of your commute. He would like to do…
