Today New Haven City Hall will have emergency meals available to families in need of assistance due to Storm Sandy-related damages and power outages. Seven distribution sites will be open from 10 a.m. to 4p.m. The maximum number of meals available per household is four, unless additional need is demonstrated. The distribution sites were selected based on the proximity to homes without power. The seven sites are as follows:

October is Food Month in New Haven! The New Haven Food Policy Council has worked hard to put together the city's first Food Summit, happening at City Hall on Friday October 12th.
