Hi everyone,
I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware that tomorrow's primary election polling locations will be based on the new ward boundaries. So please make sure that you are going to the right place. I've included a map below of the new boundaries.
Polls are open from 6am-8pm. If you are a democrat you are voting for either Chris Murphy or Susan Bysiewicz and if you are republican you are voting for either Chris Shays or Linda McMahon.
If you have any…

Hi everyone,
I just spoke with Dave Moser, landscape architect for the city, to get an update on the timeline for the Dover Beach Park splash pad and bidding process. Please keep in mind that there is a possibility that the timeline could be delayed for any number of reasons, but Dave was optimistic that they would be able to keep close to the schedule.
July 15: Advertise for bids. (completed)
10am, July 24: Mandatory "pre-bid" meeting at the site. Any contractor who…

It was great to meet everyone at last night's meeting. Thanks for being so welcoming.
As I mentioned last night, as a result of the redistricting process I will "officially" be representing part of Fair Haven in January. "Officially" aside, I am happy to help out anyone (in the ward or not) at anytime (starting now).
I wanted to offer up my contact information again, just in case you didn't get a chance to write it down or for those folks that weren't able to attend last…

We meet at Mary Wade House for @ one hour.
Rufina Durazzo, Dave Hunter, and George Morrison were present.
The group reviewed a video of the green car that sped up Clinton
Ave and down Atwater. All agreed that we should give Sgt Zona a copy.
We began a discussion about how to deal with the speeding cars
and bikes. We decided to delay any decisions until we have enough memb ers

We…

Hey guys!
I wanted to let you all know of a project I'm doing for my Boy Scout eagle project through URI. For Boy Scouts, you have to do what's called an eagle project in your community which can be anything that betters your community.
For my project, I'm renovating the stretch of green at the intersection of Middletown Ave and Front St (map). I…

Last weekend I was in Providence, RI - they have there an amazing public art understanding. The non-profit organization WATERFIRE is turning a downtown waterfront into an awesome performance arts scene... I was jealous. New Haven long time ago decided to cut off itself from the waterfront and very little of public life actually happens on the water, But a lot of that little happens on the Quinnipiac River... I wonder if we could add…
