A woman called the cops after seeing a dirt biker tear down Norton Street. Carlos Conceicao and Josh Kyle turned the corner wondering if the call was about the biker they’d been looking for. They had a “ghost” of an idea of how to catch him—on foot.
The idea: collect information to produce “ghost warrants.” And show that cops without wheels can have the last laugh.
The two walking cops (pictured above, conferring with…

The halls of the Fair Haven School were filled this afternoon with the music of J.S. Bach, Saint-Saens, and Mendelssohn thanks to the talents of the New Haven Chamber Orchestra. Fair Haven, CT - “Soylent green is people!” So screams the blustering bloviator of 1970 b-film maxims, Charlton Heston [I mean, who can forget this gem,It’s a Madhouse! from that ape flick] at the end of the same titled film when he discovers that Soylent Green is not just a natural food product created to feed the starving…

Through the generous support of Operation Warm, Inc., Joyce Van Lines and local donors, the Amity Teen Center has acquired 1,002 brand new winter coats. Joyce Van Lines has graciously volunteered to pick up the coats and are still working out the timing and logistics with Operation Warm. In the mean time the teen center wanted to get the word out to organizations in the greater New Haven area that have children and teens in need. Do you know of programs or organizations in the greater…

It is amazing to think that one year ago, January 25, 2011, during a snowstorm – of course – we welcomed our community to the Start Community Bank Grand Opening and cut the ribbons at our Whalley and Grand Avenue branches. 1500 accounts and $17 million in deposits later, we want to take the time to…

So... this is just to inform that your Webmaster as of October 1st finally has immigrated to CSNA country...
