Hey neighbors, I have a gas fireplace in my home that is not switching on even though the pilot is burning. I am wondering if someone out there who has a little knowledge about this kind of stuff could take a look. I use it for heat, so I am really hoping to get it up and running again. It is likely a small enough job that I am afraid none of the fireplace installation/repair companies will come out to check it out. We at St. James have been blessed with the generous gift of a challenge grant. For one year, up to a total of $10,000, which ever happens first, our anonymous donor will match whatever comes in above $1700 in a given month. So, if for example, in July our incoming donations are $1800 our challenger will match that extra $100.
