Overview of the National Eviction Moratorium

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) took has unprecedented action on September 1 by issuing a temporary national moratorium on most evictions for nonpayment of rent to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. These hot spots provide free internet access for 3-5 devices at a time. Important Information about Storm Clean Up from City Hall - Please share with Neighbors

Here is some more important information about the storm cleanup:



•    If you have yard debris from Isaias storm, the Department of Public Works will take any debris from your curb that is four inches in diameter, and up to six feet in length. Please pile it neatly. DPW will pick up debris in your area on your normal trash pickup day next week.

We're hopeful to be able to serve Fair Haven residents in person ASAP as we prepare our library facilities with safety in mind for all members of the public and staff.

Sewage Leak into Mill River Update

Message from  Mayor Justin Elicker.

There has been a large discharge of sewage into the Mill River near the Whitney Dam. Over 2 million gallons of sewage have been discharged into the river. The Greater New Haven Water Pollution Control Authority fixed the pipe earlier today so there is no longer any sewage leaking into the River. ARTE, Inc. SEEKING VIRTUAL INSTRUCTORS
